**Vanrossum.dev doesn't use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.** That's why you won't see a cookie banner.

What this means
---------------

- **No tracking.** Visits are counted with [Fathom Analytics](https://usefathom.com/) and [Datafa.st](https://datafa.st/), privacy-first services that use **no cookies**, store no personal data, and can't profile you across the web. I only see anonymous, aggregate numbers.
- **Strictly necessary only.** The site may set a small number of essential, first-party cookies needed for core functionality, for example, a session and security (CSRF) token when you submit the contact form, and your light/dark theme preference (stored in your browser). These aren't used to track you and don't require consent under the GDPR/ePrivacy rules.
