Terms of Service

These terms govern the purchase and use of products sold through vanrossum.dev — WordPress plugins and other software. By buying or using a product, you agree to them.

The seller is Jeffrey van Rossum, a sole trader based in the Netherlands, trading as vanrossum.dev. Questions? Email [email protected].

Payments and Merchant of Record

Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record. This means Lemon Squeezy handles the transaction, invoicing and any applicable sales tax or VAT, and your purchase is also subject to the Lemon Squeezy Terms of Service. Prices are shown on each product's page and may change over time; changes don't affect orders already placed.

Your licence

Each purchase includes a licence key for the number of sites stated in the plan you chose (for example, a single site for a personal licence, or unlimited sites for a developer licence). While your licence is active it entitles you to:

• automatic updates delivered to your site, and
• product support as described below.

If your licence lapses or isn't renewed, you may keep using the last version you downloaded, but you'll no longer receive updates, new versions, or support until you renew.

WordPress plugins. Where a product is a WordPress plugin, the plugin's PHP code is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL), consistent with WordPress. Your licence key does not restrict your rights under the GPL — it grants access to automatic updates and support for the sites your plan covers.

Other software. Products that are not WordPress plugins remain the intellectual property of vanrossum.dev and are licensed, not sold, to you for use in line with your plan. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense them except as permitted by their applicable licence.

Support

Support is provided for products with an active licence and covers help with installation, configuration and genuine bugs. It does not include custom development, hands-on administration of your server or site, or support for issues caused by third-party services, unrelated plugins, or modifications to the product.

Refunds

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, for any reason. Email [email protected] or request it through your Lemon Squeezy order.

Warranty and liability

Products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your site and data before installing or updating any product.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, vanrossum.dev's total liability arising out of or relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product in the twelve months before the claim. vanrossum.dev is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits.

Termination

These terms apply for as long as you use a product. I may suspend or terminate a licence that is used in breach of these terms, including redistribution of licensed software or attempts to circumvent licensing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law grants you a different forum.

Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version; material changes won't apply retroactively to orders already placed.
