Demo of the WordPress Settings package (video)

by Jeffrey van Rossum

Lately I've been working on a package to make it easier to create options/settings pages for WordPress plugins.

Normally one could use the Settings API WordPress provides out of the box. But for a relativly simple options page, there is quite a bit of code to write.

This package is an attempt to make this process go a lot quicker. Even if you need to add multiple tabs, sections and specific input validation.

In this video, I'm given a quick demo of what I've been working on and will give you an impression of the difference between this package and the Settings API.

The package is still under development, but I'm hoping to release it soon.

Update

This package is still under development, but can be seen on GitHub.
